The mosque is very interesting because the top of the building or the dome is made of 24 carat gold. That said, this giant mosque (8 acres and stands on a land area of 60 hectares) is one of the grandest mosques in southeast asia.
Built by a businessman named Dian Djuriah Al Rashid. Golden dome mosque or named Dian Al Mahri Mosque has 5 domes (representing the five pillars of Islam) and 6 towers (which represents the six pillars of faith).
